1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and ThoughtBubble Development, LLC ("ThoughtBubble," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Tallpine, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.
Our Privacy Policy, Cookie and Browser Storage Notice, and Cancellation Policy explain related data and billing practices. Our Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms. If you use Tallpine for an organization, you represent that you may accept these terms for it.
2. Accounts and authorized use
Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access at [email protected]. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that you have permission to upload, analyze, generate from, or publish all content and data you provide.
Production sign-in uses Google OAuth. Tallpine is not designed for sharing one account among unrelated users, and you may not access or attempt to access another person's account, Site, or credentials.
3. Trials, subscriptions, Sites, and payment
Eligible new subscribers receive one card-required 3-day trial. The trial starts with one paid Site and includes that Site's Article and Idea allowances and the subscription's feature limits. Unless canceled before the trial ends, Stripe charges $99 per Site each month. Successful first payment starts fresh monthly Article and Idea allowance pools.
Your subscription is monthly across all Sites. Each confirmed paid Site slot adds 30 Articles and 12 Idea batches to shared allowance pools that any of your Sites may use. Adding Site slots does not multiply the account's limit of four concurrent Article Pipelines.
When you add a paid Site slot, Tallpine shows a clearly labeled estimate from Stripe's invoice preview before confirmation. Stripe calculates the final amount when the change is submitted, so tax, discounts, credits, pending invoice items, customer balance, and other invoice adjustments may change the amount collected. The added capacity and allowance are available only after Stripe applies the paid subscription update. If the update remains pending or payment fails, your existing capacity remains in effect.
You may directly remove only an unused paid Site slot. For a separately billed active Site, Archive & Downgrade first reduces your paid Stripe quantity by one and then archives that Site as one confirmed operation. Either decrease provides no credit or refund for the current period and lowers the next recurring invoice. Article and Idea allowances already granted for the current usage window remain available until that window resets. A current per-Site subscription must retain at least one paid Site unless it is canceled. A grandfathered Site covered by an included legacy baseline may be archived without changing Stripe.
Existing customers on a bundled subscription retain the included Site baseline and legacy price shown in Billing unless they expressly move to different terms. Tallpine does not automatically reprice those subscriptions as per-Site subscriptions.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Article allowances and Idea allowances reset by usage window and do not roll over. Tallpine does not sell one-time Article packs. Prices and applicable taxes are shown before purchase. Except where law requires otherwise, charges are nonrefundable once incurred.
Paid Site quantity changes are made through Tallpine Billing. The dedicated Stripe Customer Portal is limited to supported customer details, payment methods, invoices, and cancellation. It does not offer plan or quantity changes.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel through Billing, Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the time shown in the Stripe portal, normally at the end of the current trial or paid billing period. The separate Cancellation Policy explains the process and access effects.
5. Your content and generated output
You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and transform that content only as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and support the service. As between you and ThoughtBubble, you may use generated output subject to applicable law, these terms, and any third-party rights. AI output may not be unique, may resemble other output, and may not qualify for intellectual-property protection in every jurisdiction.
6. AI output and editorial responsibility
Tallpine assists with research and drafting. Generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for claims, citations, rights, disclosures, and publishing settings before relying on or publishing output. Tallpine does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
If you enable Autopilot, you instruct Tallpine to approve and submit eligible generated content under your saved settings without reviewing each item first. This does not shift editorial, factual, legal, rights-clearance, disclosure, or destination responsibility to Tallpine. Use Review First if your workflow requires human approval before every publication.
7. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy, including its rules against unlawful or rights-violating material, deception, unauthorized personal-data processing, harmful content, security abuse, and unsafe high-impact uses. We may limit or suspend activity that threatens the service, providers, other users, or third parties.
8. Third-party services and publishing
Tallpine depends on third-party AI, search, payment, storage, email, analytics, and publishing services. Their availability and terms may affect features. The current categories and configuration-dependent providers are listed in our Third-Party Services and Subprocessors.
You are responsible for your connected CMS credentials, permissions, destination configuration, and final publication. You authorize Tallpine to transmit selected Article and Image content to a destination when you configure or invoke managed publishing. A failed remote publish does not remove your Tallpine draft or ZIP export option.
9. Intellectual-property concerns
You must respect copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, and other rights in Sources, prompts, Images, output, and published material. To report content or use that you believe infringes your rights, contact [email protected] with enough information for us to identify and review the issue. We may remove or restrict disputed material where reasonably appropriate.
10. Tallpine materials and feedback
Tallpine, including its software, design, documentation, trademarks, and other service materials, is owned by ThoughtBubble or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. These terms give you only the limited, revocable, nonexclusive right to use the service during your authorized access; they do not transfer ownership of Tallpine or provider models.
If you voluntarily provide feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you as the source without permission. This does not give us ownership of your workspace content or generated output.
11. Service availability, changes, and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may update plan limits or pricing prospectively. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, nonpayment, abuse, or security risk. You may stop using the service at any time and should export content you need before access ends.
Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, Tallpine has no service level guarantee. Jobs, research sources, model output, and remote publishing may be delayed, retried, unavailable, or changed by a provider. Cancellation does not guarantee completion of queued or scheduled work after access ends.
12. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Tallpine is provided "as is" and "as available" without implied warranties. ThoughtBubble is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for Tallpine during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not permit all limitations, so these limits apply only to the extent allowed.
13. General terms
These terms and the policies they reference are the agreement governing Tallpine unless we sign a separate agreement with you. If one provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms or your account without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of the service.
Neither party is responsible for a delay or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, except that this does not excuse payment obligations already due. Sections that by their nature should continue after access ends—including rights ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and general terms—survive termination.
14. Changes, notices, and support
We may update these terms and will post a new effective date. Material changes apply prospectively as required by law. Notices may be provided in Tallpine, by email to the address associated with your account, or by posting an updated policy where permitted. For questions, account requests, or notices, contact [email protected].
