Media & Images

Give Articles useful visuals while keeping your brand assets under your control.

Media is a direct destination in the Site navigation. It collects the first-party visual resources you upload. Stock and generated Images remain available inside their Articles but are not shown in the Media library. Media is optional: you can create and review Articles without uploading anything.

First-Party Media

Media contains visual resources you uploaded, such as product photos, screenshots, diagrams, logos, or approved brand artwork. Tallpine may use an enabled resource as visual context for a generated Image.

A First Party resource is an input, not an automatic Article Image. Tallpine uses it only when the resource is enabled and selected for a relevant generation request.

Upload a First Party Resource

  1. Open Media for the current Site.
  2. Choose Upload Image Resource.
  3. Select a PNG, JPEG, or WebP file up to 10 MB.
  4. Add a description of up to 500 characters, then save the resource.

A useful description says what the Image shows and what must stay accurate. For example: “Front view of the green Field Kit with the Tallpine logo centered on the lid; preserve the logo spelling and product color.”

Do not upload an asset unless you have the right to use it. Remove customer details, private screens, access tokens, and other sensitive information before uploading a screenshot.

Enable, Pause, or Remove Resources

  • A Site can have up to 16 enabled resources at once. Pause one before enabling another when you reach the limit.
  • The configured Image generator can receive up to four selected resources for one generated Image.
  • Edit a resource description when it is unclear or no longer matches the asset.
  • Pause a resource to keep it in Media but prevent it from being selected for new generation requests.
  • Delete a resource when you no longer want Tallpine to retain or use it. Confirm the selected item carefully because deletion is permanent.

Pausing or deleting a resource affects future Image work. It does not automatically remove Images that were already created or attached to an Article.

How Article Images Are Created

When Include Images is enabled, Tallpine creates a bounded visual brief from the Article. The application then uses that brief to request a relevant stock Image or to call the configured Image generator. The Article Pipeline can continue even when an Image cannot be added.

Generated Image requests may include enabled First Party resources that match the brief. A resource and its description are sent to the configured Image generator only when selected for that request. Review the result carefully: visual generation can alter logos, text, product details, colors, or proportions.

Review Images in an Article

Open the Article in Read view and inspect each Image in context. Check:

  • Relevance: the Image supports the surrounding section instead of merely decorating it.
  • Accuracy: people, products, text, logos, charts, and brand details are not misleading.
  • Alt text: it conveys the Image's purpose for readers who cannot see it.
  • Caption: when present, it is accurate and adds useful context.
  • Attribution: stock credit and source details are preserved when supplied.

The Image marked as primary is used as the featured Image for a WordPress delivery. Confirm that it works as the Article's lead visual before sending.

Regenerate an Attached Image

  1. Open the Article in Read view and choose the regenerate action on the Image.
  2. Add optional guidance describing the subject, composition, mood, and details that must remain accurate.
  3. Optionally select relevant First Party resources for the configured Image generator.
  4. Start the update, follow its progress, and review the replacement before delivery.

By default, each Article includes 3 Image regenerations. The allowance does not refill; each new Article receives its own. The remaining allowance appears inline, and when none remain the action is replaced by Contact support to get more. An Image regeneration does not consume an Article, and the existing Image stays in place while the update runs.

Export and Delivery

Attached Images are included in the Article ZIP when Tallpine can retrieve them. The Image Path Prefix controls how the exported Markdown refers to those files. Direct CMS delivery transfers the Images supported by that destination.

Before delivery, verify the final file, placement, alt text, caption, and attribution. An Image appearing in Media does not by itself grant new usage rights.
