Ideas

Turn Site context into Ideas worth creating.

What Are Ideas?

Ideas are your editorial opportunity list. Tallpine generates them from the required Site Profile and Content Strategy, plus any active Keywords, selected Sources, and public context available for the run. Each Idea includes a title, angle, target Keywords, and an estimated length.

Treat every Idea as a pitch, not an assignment. Review the angle, save the opportunities worth keeping, create a Draft when you are ready, and pass on the rest.

Generating Ideas

To add opportunities:

  1. Open Ideas.
  2. Choose Generate Ideas.
  3. Select Sources when you want the batch grounded in specific private material. Sources are optional.
  4. Choose 1 to 10 Ideas, subject to the selected plan's monthly Idea-batch allowance. Start with 3 to 5 so the batch is easy to review.
  5. Click Generate. The background job shows progress; timing varies with Sources and providers.

Tallpine uses the Site context available for that run. You remain responsible for checking each Idea's relevance, overlap, and accuracy.

Reviewing Ideas

New Ideas appear in the Review filter. Each card shows:

  • The suggested title
  • A short description explaining the angle
  • Target Keywords the Article could address

Use Review, Saved, and Passed to focus on the next editorial decision.

Create, Save, or Pass

You decide what happens to each Idea:

  • Use Create Draft to start one Article with the Site defaults. This uses one Article and one available Pipeline slot.
  • Use Save to keep a promising Idea without starting generation.
  • Use Pass to set an Idea aside. An optional reason preserves editorial context for later review.
  • Use Choose Ideas for bulk actions, or Customize Articles to change generation and delivery settings before starting saved Ideas.

The server reserves allowance atomically. If another browser or active Job uses the last Article or Pipeline slot first, Tallpine stops the new start instead of overspending.

Tallpine proposes opportunities. You make the editorial decision and choose when an Idea becomes a Draft.

Smart Deduplication

Tallpine checks new Idea candidates against existing Ideas, Articles, and own-site page titles. Strong similarity is filtered before insertion, reducing obvious repeats. Deduplication is a safeguard, not a guarantee; review the final batch for overlapping angles.

Tips for Better Ideas

  • Complete the Site Profile first: Ideas are more relevant when Tallpine understands the business, audience, and goals.
  • Set up active Keywords: they inform Idea targeting when relevant to the angle.
  • Add focused Sources: relevant source material can improve grounding, but review every suggestion.
  • Generate in small batches: 3 to 5 is easier to review carefully than the maximum batch of 10.
  • Pass with a clear reason: this preserves useful context for later editorial review.
  • Be selective: don't save everything. A focused Idea queue is easier to act on. Keep the opportunities that are genuinely worth your audience's time.
