Plans & Billing

How pricing, shared allowances, Site capacity, and subscription changes work.

Your Tallpine account has one plan and one billing cadence across all of its Sites. New subscriptions are priced per paid Site. Every confirmed paid Site adds that plan's Article and Idea allowances to shared account-wide pools, while Pipeline capacity stays fixed by plan.

Paid capacity

Your licensed Site slots

Each active Site needs one available slot.

Shared allowance

Articles and Idea batches

Use the pooled total on any active Site.

Account-wide speed

Concurrent Pipelines

Fixed by plan, not multiplied by Site count.

Compare Plans

Prices below are in USD and apply to each paid Site. Monthly plans bill each month. Yearly plans bill once per year, while Article and Idea allowances still refresh monthly.

Quick edits are targeted AI revisions. These Article-specific allowances are included in every plan. Unused Article and Idea allowances do not roll over.

Example: Two paid Growth Sites cost $198 per month or $1,980 per year. Together they provide 60 Articles and 24 Idea batches in shared monthly pools, with 2 concurrent Pipelines across the account.

The 3-Day Trial

Eligible new subscribers can start one card-required trial. Tallpine does not charge the card at signup, and the exact trial end time appears in Billing and in the Stripe Customer Portal.

  • The trial includes exactly 1 Site, regardless of the plan selected.
  • You receive one Site's normal Article and Idea allowances, the selected plan's account-wide Pipeline capacity, and the included setup workflows for that Site.
  • Cancel before the displayed deadline to avoid the first subscription charge.
  • After the first successful payment, Tallpine starts fresh monthly Article and Idea pools. Trial usage does not reduce that first paid window.

A trial cannot be repeated. Site quantity cannot be changed while the subscription is trialing.

What Uses Your Allowance

One Article
A fresh Article generation, a Guided rewrite, or a From scratch rewrite.
One Idea batch
One Generate Ideas request. A request can return from 1 to 10 Ideas and still uses one batch.
One Quick edit
One focused AI revision of an existing Article. Each successful Article receives its own included Quick edits.
One Image regeneration
One request to replace an Article Image. Each successful Article receives its own included regenerations.
No Article used
Manual editing, ZIP export, Send, scheduling, and CMS delivery do not consume an Article.

Tallpine reserves allowance when metered work is queued. A successful run consumes the reservation; a terminal failure releases it. Queued or running background Article and rewrite work shares the plan's Pipeline capacity.

Each active Site also receives one included run of each setup workflow per usage window: Site analysis, Content Strategy, Site Research, Competitor Research, and Keyword Research. The window refreshes monthly, including on yearly subscriptions.

Quick edits and Image regenerations belong to the Article that created them. Unused ones expire when that Article's trial or monthly usage window ends.

Paid Site Capacity

An active Site uses one paid capacity slot. New subscriptions keep at least one paid slot and can support from 1 to 50 paid Sites. Billing shows active Sites, confirmed capacity, and any available slots.

Archive a Site

Archiving preserves the Site's content and settings. For a separately billed Site, Tallpine also removes one Stripe subscription unit in the same confirmed action.

The Archive & Downgrade dialog shows the current and lower renewal totals before anything changes. After confirmation, Stripe is lowered first and the Site is then archived. There is no archive-only choice for a separately billed Site.

The decrease creates no current-period credit or refund and preserves the current shared allowance until its normal reset. The next renewal uses the lower Site quantity. If Stripe cannot confirm the decrease, the Site remains active so billing and Site state cannot silently diverge.

The subscription must retain at least one paid Site. Cancel the active subscription before archiving the last per-Site Site. Grandfathered plans can still archive Sites covered by their included baseline without changing Stripe.

A Site cannot be archived while it has active generation, reserved usage, or scheduled CMS delivery that still needs attention. To restore an archived Site, the account must have active access and an available capacity slot.

Add or Remove Paid Slots

Use Plans & Billing in the Tallpine workspace, not the Stripe Portal, to change paid Site quantity.

  • Increasing capacity: Tallpine shows the exact new recurring subtotal and a clearly labeled Stripe proration estimate. The signed preview remains valid for 10 minutes. Stripe calculates the final invoice when you submit the change, so tax, discounts, credits, balances, and pending invoice items can change the amount collected. New capacity and allowance appear only after Stripe applies the paid update.
  • Payment action required: If an increase needs authentication or another payment step, current capacity stays in place. Follow the payment link in Billing, then choose Check status.
  • Decreasing capacity: Only unused capacity can be removed, so archive Sites until the target quantity still covers every active Site. The lower capacity applies immediately, creates no current-period credit or refund, and lowers the next recurring invoice. Article and Idea allowances already granted remain available until their normal reset.

Quantity controls are temporarily unavailable during the trial, a pending subscription update, a scheduled cancellation, or a subscription payment problem.

Manage or Cancel a Subscription

Change Plan or Billing Cadence

Current per-Site subscriptions can change plan or switch between monthly and yearly billing from Plans & Billing. Choose the target plan and cadence, then review the signed Stripe proration estimate, new recurring total, shared allowances, and Pipeline concurrency before confirming.

Stripe recalculates the final invoice, including automatic tax, discounts, credits, balances, and pending invoice items. If payment needs authentication or another step, the current plan stays active and Billing provides a recovery link. Plan and cadence changes are temporarily unavailable during a trial, scheduled cancellation, pending subscription update, or payment problem. Grandfathered subscriptions still require Support because changing their Price would end their legacy terms.

Tallpine Billing owns plan and paid Site changes. Manage Subscription opens the dedicated Stripe Customer Portal for customer details, payment methods, invoices, and cancellation. The Portal cannot change the plan or Site quantity.

  • Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current trial or paid billing period. You can keep using the remaining allowance and plan features until the displayed access deadline.
  • Review or cancel future publishing schedules and export anything you need before access ends. Queued, retrying, or scheduled work is not guaranteed to run after the subscription becomes inactive.
  • A scheduled cancellation locks Site quantity changes. To keep the subscription, review the available actions in the Portal. If it does not offer a reversal, contact support before access ends. Return to Billing afterward to check the subscription status.
  • If a payment fails, access may be limited or end. Update the payment method in the Portal, then check the subscription status in Tallpine.

Canceling prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund a charge already made. Tallpine does not provide prorated refunds or cash value for unused allowance except where required by law. Read the full Cancellation Policy.

If you subscribe again later, a new trial is not available and checkout must cover every retained active Site. Archive Sites first if you want to subscribe for fewer.

Grandfathered Subscriptions

Some older subscriptions include a legacy Site baseline. They keep 1 Starter Site, 3 Growth Sites, or 10 Scale Sites at quantity one, with one plan-sized shared Article and Idea allowance—not one allowance for every included Site. Every additional paid quantity adds one Site and one plan-sized allowance. Tallpine does not automatically move those subscriptions to current per-Site pricing.

If Billing labels your subscription as grandfathered, use the capacity, price, and allowance shown there as the terms for your account.
