Create Articles

From a saved Idea to a review-ready Draft.

Choose Create or Customize

From Ideas, choose Create Draft to use the Site defaults for one Idea. Choose Customize Articles to select saved Ideas and change length, tone, Images, Sources, or delivery before starting.

How Article Generation Works

The Article Pipeline runs these stages with progress visible in the app:

  • Researching: isolated private and public lanes gather context. Private Source search is limited to Sources selected for the run; public research runs only when its providers are enabled.
  • Outlining: Tallpine builds a structured outline from the research brief, Site strategy, and Idea.
  • Writing: the Writer creates the full Draft from the outline and available Site context.
  • Checking: deterministic checks look for an unusably short Draft, missing structure, placeholder text, and basic metadata issues. Tallpine may attempt one focused repair.
  • Image Curation: when Images are enabled, a private planning turn chooses bounded visual categories. Application code then attempts stock search or generation.

Customize Settings

Before starting, you can configure:

  • Word Count: set a target from 500 to 3,000 words. Treat it as a target, not an exact guarantee.
  • Tone: choose Professional, Casual, Conversational, or Technical to complement the Site's voice profile.
  • Images: choose whether Tallpine should attempt Images and how many, up to the product limit.
  • Sources: select which private Sources are eligible for retrieval during this run.
  • Delivery: use the Site default or explicitly choose Hold for Review, Schedule Delivery, or Send to CMS Now. Remote options require a usable Publishing Destination.

Creating Multiple Articles

You can start multiple saved Ideas together:

  • Select Ideas in Create Articles
  • Choose Customize for the selected count
  • Start only the selection that fits the remaining Article allowance and available Pipeline slots
  • Start more after an active Pipeline finishes
  • Progress cards show each Generation Job separately

Plan and Trial Limits

Each fresh Create uses one Article from the current plan window. A card-required 3-day trial includes the selected plan's full Article allowance plus its normal Site, Pipeline, Idea-batch, Targeted Changes, and Image-regeneration limits. Export and CMS delivery do not consume Articles. The first successful payment starts a fresh monthly Article allowance.

What You Get

When generation finishes, the Draft includes:

  • A complete Article in Markdown
  • A title, excerpt, and SEO metadata
  • Target Keywords
  • Successfully sourced Images placed in the content, when enabled
  • A Draft in Articles, ready for human review

Generation Progress

Progress shows the current stage and elapsed time. You can continue using other parts of Tallpine while Articles run in the background. Completion time varies with research depth, Images, and provider latency.

Start only the Articles you intend to review. Generation is bounded by allowance and concurrency, but every generated claim still needs human verification.

Tips

  • Match length to the audience and search intent
  • Use Site defaults for routine work and Customize for exceptions
  • Enable Images only when visuals improve the Article
  • Keep delivery on Hold until the Draft has been reviewed
